kpl problems
The KPL may have had grand ambitions a la IPL. But count on the BCCI to spoil it!
All in good humour. The Karnataka Premier League (KPL) can go ahead with the BCCI’s blessing. But there is a catch.
The KPL cannot have players other than those that are playing for Karnataka which basically means that the KPL is restricted to the state alone, with no provision for outside state players to take part in it. Naturally, then it would be a mini IPL, taking away IPL’s USP.
But given that this is meant as an endeavour to develop players within the state, that should not really pose a problem. Should it?
